Description:
This USED Ruger revolver is a rare variation of the original "Old Model" Blackhawk pistols of which only 370 were believed to be manufactured in this configuration. This Ruger is fitted with a 6.5-inch inch barrel, adjustable rear sight, and chambered in .357 Magnum. Unfortunately the original set of walnut grips with Ruger medallions are not included and were changed out to the pearl ones seen pictured by the original owner. What sets this one apart from most others is the brass square back, Super Blackhawk, trigger grip frame. The bore looks great, and the action functions the same, with a solid lock-up. This Single-action revolver appears to have been manufactured with its brass grip frame around 1961. This is the first one we have ever seen and research shows how rare they are! .357 Magnum
