This NEW IN BOX, Colt 1911 Government Model Series 70 pistol is a special edition, custom engraved Colt Government Model 1911 chambered in .38 Super. It was designed and engraved as an ALTAMONT Exclusive. The spectacular deep relief engraving features custom Regal scroll engraving on the slide, frame, screws and even the safety lever and slide stop have full deep relief coverage. This is bold American engraving at its finest. This stunning piece is complemented by rich rosewood grips with gold rampant Colt inlay, made exclusively by ALTAMONT for this edition. The pictures don't do it justice. Please Note-this is not a one of one engraved firearm, but is engraved with the same care and attention to execute this spectacular pattern, one gun at a time.
