Description:
Serial #E1208, .223 Rem. (5.56mm NATO), 20" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a Gun South-imported rifle with mixed numbers on the barrel and bolt (905SA687 and 907SA519 respectively). The receiver has an "SDO" date code (May, 1990), the bolt has "NDO" (March, 1990), and the barrel has "ATT" (December, 1988). The rifle retains retains practically all of the original black anodized finish on the metal with only some very minor handling marks on the rare black "Police" stock and folding foregrip. The cleaning kit is still present inside the buttstock. The rifle has the Special Receiver with optic rail and has a "WEST GERMANY"-marked, Hensoldt 4x scope with clear optics and circle with triangle reticle. A single 30 rd. magazine is included. This is a splendid pre-’94 AUG, with the rare Special Receiver, and desirable black stock set. It would make a great addition to any collection. FFL
