Uberti Replica of the Colt Model 1836 Number 5 Paterson Revolver. .36 Caliber, 5 shot cylinder with 7.5" Octagonal Barrel. This one has the standard blued finish which is a bit more durable than the charcoal blue option. Hammer, backstrap, and frame plate are case color hardened. Serial number is in the 33,000 range. Italian Date Code is BS which is 2002 production. Uberti only made these from the late 1980's up to around 2010. By far, the best reproduction of a Paterson ever made. Overall, it's in NRA Antique Excellent Plus to nearly Mint condition with 99.9% original finish remaining. It's never been fired and there isn't even a drag line between the stop notches on the cylinder. The only signs of wear are just a few minor nicks on the walnut grips. Mechanics work nicely with the folding trigger popping down when the hammer is cocked. I have a friend who has worked on original Paterson revolvers who said these Ubertis are "very close to the originals". They even have the 4 pronged nipples like the original Patersons. Since this is percussion, it qualifies as an antique under Federal Law however, some state and local laws vary. Please review your laws before contacting us.
