The directions are broken up into seven categories which are: Loading The Carbine, Detaching The Barrel, Priming The Arm, Removing the Lock, Correctly Using The Connical Bullets, Keeping The Rear Thimble From Rusting, & Keeping The Carbine Cleaned & Oiled. The broadside instructions measure 8 1/4 inches by 5 inches. This Is A Very Nice Example Of An Early Civil War "Massachusetts Arms Company" Complete Instruction Broadside For Loading And Using A "Greene's Carbine"!
