Mfg approx 1928.Parker DHE 12 ga sxs shotgun. Single steel bead sight on a concave solid matte rib barrel marked PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDEN CT USA TITANIC STEEL. 2.58 chambers, choked modified/full with auto ejectors. The barrel, water table, and lower tang have matching serial numbers 228046.. The water table has the 1910 patent date with a DH over the serial number over 3. The casehardened action features a scroll engraving with a dog and Parker Bros in a banner on each side, and 4 game birds on the underside Double trigger, and a tang-mounted automatic safety. The forearm is numbered to the frame and barrels, checkered splinter forearm, and checkered straight grip stock. skeleton steel buttplate The barrels have 50% of the original blued finish with areas of spotting and pitting as well as light handling marks. The receiver has aged to mostly a silver tone with muted case colors only visible on the water table. All engravings and markings are strong. The wood is fair, with pressure indentations, abrasions, small chips and scratches throughout. Mechanically very good. . Shipping is $95.00 with additional shipping costs to AK,HI,CA,PR.
