Antique Cox & Sons Double hammer shotgun. Double trigger with lifter extractors. Nitro proved, sleeved barrels proofed at 2-1/2" Chamber 3 Tons. Choked Imp, cyl & Cyl. Dual back action locks with modest scroll engraving. Fine oil finished straight English walnut stock with crisp checkering. 14-1/2" LOP over unmarked contemporary recoil pad. 1-1/2" DAC, 2-1/4" DAH. Housed in unmarked oak & leather luggage case with partitions and red wool lining. Conditon: Very fine as restored with barrels retaining over 97% blue and being bright. Action remains in the white. Stocks are excellent. Action operates properly and locks solidly. Case is aged but operates fine.
