This rifle is rated at 94% Blue and 94% Wood having a few marks I see on the wood. There are no cracks or extra holes in the wood.The Blue has some spots on the upper tang and a spot on the foreward receiver top by the proof mark. There is some very fine freckling on an area of the left side receiver which you really have to look for. The butt plate is plastic with the Winchester logo in circle. The original open sights are intact. The bore is mirror shiny with great rifling. The action is tight with hardly any play. A great rifle for Hunting or Shooting at a affordable price. The gun is Excellent at about 94% Over-All. Own a piece of American History made at the famous Winchecter factory in New Haven, Conn., USA.
