Description:
Kel-Tec RDB® Bullpup Semi-Auto Rifle is a very unique bullpup platform with its ability to eject spent casings downward rather than to the right side of the shooter. The RDB (Rifle Downward-ejecting Bullpup) is also completely ambidextrous, filling a void in the bullpup world that was leaving lefties in the dark. If you're right-handed, this feature is immediately recognizable as a bonus while engaging in shoulder transitions. The manual safety function is intuitive and stops at a 45º so the opposite side's lever doesn't run into your hand, which is a common issue on the AR-15 with an ambidextrous selector. When the RDB is discharged, the bolt glides to the rear where your fired brass is ejected out the bottom using Kel-Tec's superfluous-but-beneficial double ejector bolt system. On the way back forward, the bolt picks up the next round and guides it into the chamber as the bolt returns into battery. This innovative system saves southpaws who don't have the palate for lead-infused, smoked brass. The barrel features the desired 1:7 twist rate for 5.56 NATO rifles. You can confidently run a suppressor with a custom-tailored bolt speed on the RDB, due to the reliability of the adjustable gas piston system. The Bullpup has a Zytel fore end with an integral Picatinny rail to mount accessories on the bottom. The rifle also features a Picatinny top-mount rail for your choice in optic and back-up sights.
