Offered is a very nice first year Marlin model 39A made in 1939. This example shows very well on all metal and wood surfaces. Everything is in correct working order and the bore is excellent. Brophy expresses the first year rifle showed the classic "S" pistol grip, flat butt plate and squared lever only seen on first year rifle. Rifle shows very light handling marks.
