***SOLD*** Collector quality Pre 64 Winchester 70 Super Grade in ultra rare .243 Win. caliber! (Only 291 ever made)
S/N 325144 with matching scribed bolt made in 1955.
98%+ bright original finishes throughout with no issues whatsoever beyond a few very light handling marks.
All post 1954 Super Grade features are present and correct including the period specific rust blued barrel, proper action component jeweling with S/N correctly scribed on TOP of this jeweling, etc.
There are also some underbarrel stamps confirming the legitimacy of the grade including the often present backward "s" on recoil lug.
Other standard Super Grade features include the deluxe stock with MC comb and contoured cheek rest, Redfield 255 gold bead front sight, stamped floorplate, contrasting bakelite forend tip, robust detachable swivels, etc.
24" standard weight barrel with an excellent bore. All mechanical functions are smooth and crisp.
