Pre war No. 1 Grade Greifelt 12 gauge over-under features 32" barrels with engine turned solid rib choked extra full/extra full (.045/.045), 2-3/4" chambers. Barrels marked ""Von Lengerke & Detmold. Wonderful deluxe-grade Greifelt shows deep carved bolsters of floral and vine, the action body engraved with scenes of wildfowl in natural settings. The remainder of the action completely engraved with floral and scroll including the entire breech end of the barrels. The action maintains a pleasing patina of case color hardening. Double underlugs and Kersten cross bolting maintain the vault like closure of the 32" barrels. Double trigger, articulated front, auto ejectors, auto safe. Prince of Wales round grip stock of well figured old world walnut with rich deep amber color and lots of black figure running throughout. Measures 1-1/4" comb, 2-3/8" heel, LOP 14-7/8" over the leather pad.
Three piece forend. Really fine checkering and horn inlays at the tail of the cheeks of the stock complement this pre-war top of the line treasure. Sporting clays, pigeons or tower shoots this gun swings like a dream at 7 lbs., 14 oz.
