Description:
Offered for sale is a very nice example of a 1959 (S prefix) 336 Texan chambered in 30-30. This rifle features a 20 inch JM stamped barrel and has a 7 round capacity. Bore is excellent. The sights are original and the correct round hood is present on the front sight. Stock and fore end are nicely figured American walnut and are also in very nice condition . Bluing is original and would rate very nice with slight edge wear on a couple of spots on the frame and some very slight freckling on the magazine tube (see pictures). This is the earliest Texan I have owned and I’m confident it would make a great addition to someone’s collection. Payment is expected in 10 days and is to be via a bank cashier check or USPS money order. Shipping fee is $60.00 and includes insurance. Sorry, no sales to California, Hawaii and Alaska.
