Description:
Serial #144880-S, .22 LR, 4.5 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Colt Woodsman 2nd Series Sport Model pistol manufactured in 1955. The semi-automatic features the push-button mag release, slide hold open and injection molded Colt plastic grips. In excellent condition the metal surfaces retain about 85-90% of the original blue finish with loss around the muzzle, barrel sides and along the grip frame with some very light overall use marks. The grips rate excellent and it comes with one original Colt factory magazine. It has the original adjustable rear square notch sight with a later added red paint front sight. A very nice example of this very late 2nd model Woodsman that would be a pleasure to shoot.
