Very nice 1965 Walther P38 9mm pistol. You can tell from the photos that the pistol is in excellent condition and ready for the range. I am a collector so I have not fired the pistol.
Note the condition of the extremely clean bore. Not sure it has ever been shot.
This pistol exhibits the "circle with dot in center" representing that this pistol was made for the West German Military in 1965.
In 1968, the "68 in front of the antlers" on the trigger ring was added to show it was tested at the ULM Testing site in ULM in Southern Germany and passed the testing.
The "EAGLE with the N under it", is the proof mark that it passed the test.
Finally, the "Made in West Germany" was stamped on the firearm before it could be imported into the U.S.
The box matches the serial number on the pistol. The hand book accompanying the pistol is only in Germanas this was intended to be given to a German soldier.
Comes with original cleaning tool and two (2) original P38 magazines.
