This was a 20" Carbine , that had very slight ring at 16 1/2" in the Bbl, A master gunsmith cut & recrowned the barrel to 16 1/2 ", absolutely the best I have seen done, also installed the orig front sight , no one could ever tell it was done! Now absolutely perfect bore, and the handiest 99 you ever held in your hands, in 30-30 caliber, what a great rifle to hunt deer in the forested areas of the U.S., has orig brass rotor, 335679 made in 1920 ! Has original Buckhorn rear sight and beaded front sight on ramp, 95% Blue and case color! perfect wood with factory swivels, no extra holes in metal or wood !! (Gun is Sold) thanks Mike !
