BEAUTIFUL CONDITION .22 LR OFFICERS MODEL, #5XXX, MADE THE FIRST FULL YEAR OF TH GREAT DEPRESSION IN 1930. The quality of these top-of-the-line Colts has to be seen and felt to be fully appreciated. The fit and finish as well as the hand tuned action are truly state of the art for any time period. All were made with checkered steel back straps and triggers. Adjustable target sights. This one appears to be about unfired as it retains all the blue on the face of the cylinder- which usually starts to "blast" away after a few boxes of shells are fired. Aside from a touch of muzzle wear on each side, it is in factory new condition inside and out. Sharp checkered Colt medallion walnut grips and exc. fire blue on the back of the hammer and on the trigger. I can't even imagine the cost of Colt tried to make these today from their custom shop. Barely a cylinder line on this superb example.
