All original and matching (including wedge) and manufactured early in 1862. 44,xxx serial range of the First Maryland Cavalry issues. Excellent plus condition with 70-80% blue and case hardening with only light patina. Excellent original grips with the original finish and two perfect Ordnance inspector’s cartouches. Perfect markings and 100% crisp cylinder engraving. Exceptional bright bore. Perfect working order except missing one nipple. Other nipples all in excellent condition. Really nice example.
