SN: 476 (1986). 28 gauge. Best Quality FAMARS Game Gun has 27" demi-bloc bbls w/ hand-filed ventilated game rib and single sighting bead. Maker's name in gold on left side and scroll engraving flourishes at breech. Coin-finished action, non-selective single trigger and ejectors. Body is fully engraved with masterful Bulino game scenes intricately framed by deep relief vine & scroll patterns on matted ground. Floorplate, rolled edge trigger bow, tang and toplever are similarly engraved to match w/ Maker's name, SN and "S"afe in gold. The engraving is perfectly executed by renowned maestro Giancarlo Pedretti (1947-2017) in his prime and is signed on left trigger plate. Mounted in rich honey-gold Circassian walnut w/ dark mineral streaking throughout. Finely checkered straight hand stock has drop points and delicate diamond profile wrist section terminating in a full checkered butt. Matching field style forend has FAMARS Coat of Arms escutcheon which activates the Deeley-style release. Wt: 6 lbs 1oz; Bore: .550" (both); Choke: B-.000" (Cyl), T-.007" (IC); Stock 15 3/4" x 1 3/8" x 2 1/2" w/ 3/8" cast off.
CONDITION: As New. Retains virtually all of its fine factory finishes. No discernible flaws or marks in metal or wood. Standing breech shows little indication of use. Crisp mechanics. Bright shiny bores. A true Gem crafted in the glory years for FAMARS ... This level of Craftsmanship is unobtainable today at this price!
