Description:
This right hand bolt action target rifle is a Shilen Rifles, Inc Model DGA Benchrest chambered in .222 Remington. It has 19 inch round barrel, a McMillan broad, flat fiberglass benchrest forearm, a thumbhole pistol grip stock, a Shilen hard black rubber butt pad, a curved grooved trigger, and a swept back, round knob bolt handle. The finish on the barrel is in excellent to like new condition. The McMillan fiberglass stock is in very good condition with a few light scuff marks to the left side right above the trigger guard. The bore is very bright and shiny with strong rifling. Shilen Rifles Inc are the makers of legendary barrels, triggers and actions. The founder of Shilen Rifles (Ed Shilen) was one of the sport's great innovators and promoters. He was constantly looking to improve the quality and accuracy of his products, as well as the standard for accuracy in the industry. He began his pursuit of extreme accuracy in 1955, and later founded Shilen Rifles Inc. in March 1967. Shilen Rifles have set many records and its founder has been recognized by the Benchrest Hall of Fame. .222 Remington
