I am reducing the size of my Exclusive collection and am offering several fine examples for sale here. These guns were purchased by me while stationed in Germany.
This Suhler/Meister Sidelock Shotgun is in great condition, 99% Blue. Nice wood is dark oiled finish in great condition. See pictures below. It has been fired very little as it has been a part of my collection since the 1980’s. I have never fired it. See specs below:
Meistergrade Sidelock 16 ga. O/U Shotgun from 1955
Manufacuturer: Based on Suhler Sidelock Shotgun. Likely made in Suhl as a Meister Project for a gunsmith to obtain his Master in Gunsmithing. This shotgun was made for Gehmann Stuttgart.
Proof Date: 30 Mar 1955 German stamps so more than likely Suhl Master Gunsmith.
High Grade Wood Stock with a lot of carving.
