Marlin Model 39 .22 LR. Serial HS18936 has a 24-inch octagon barrel (white front sight bead, button-release magazine tube, elevation-adjustable rear sight). Features include a color case receiver, checkered hammer spur, S-shaped grip and a checkered butt plate with the Marlin logo inside an oval. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.3 inches. CONDITION: The bore (standard rifling) is strong and bright. Barrel blue is approximately 65 percent with areas of light tarnish. Receiver colors are approximately 40 percent with areas of light tarnish. Wood is approximately 85 percent with occasional impressions and a yellowed bullseye. Butt plate has a small chip at the toe. No box or papers. The price is firm and layaway is available. $1,500 plus shipping.
