Serial number 389891 is a partially-restored rifle with a 24-inch octagon barrel, blade front sight with what appears to be an ivory bead, plugged rear sight dovetail, Turnbull-refreshed color case action, checkered stock with serrated butt plate and a Stevens scope (number 368). DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 7.2 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.2 inches. CONDITION: The bore is very good, bright with only a suggestion of roughness. Barrel finish is approximately 70 percent with light freckling near the muzzle and an area of scratches near the rear sight dovetail. Wood is approximately 85 percent. The optic is relatively clear, but the image is yellowed due to filming and some internal debris is visible. The price is firm and layaway is available. $2,750 plus shipping.
