One of the primary longarms of the Mexican War and the US Civil war with Lock dated 1851 and barrel dated 1850. One piece oil finished walnut stock with brass furniture. .54 Cal, rifled bore with brass patchbox with spare nipple remaining in place. Condition, Very good as having some restoration with barrel being browned, Very good bore iwth strong rifling and some darkness in grooves. Stock has a repair on right side.
