EARLY PRE-WAR WINCHESTER MODEL 52 SPORTER .22LR RIFLE MFG. NOV. 1937 WITH EARLY LEUPOLD SCOPE. 24” barrel. Rare early “B” Sporter and in all original excellent plus condition with 99% original blue and nearly all the original stock finish with mint checkering. Has a few minor stock small scratches on the left side. Has seen almost no use with mint new bore. Transition SPORTING model from the “A” model without the side safety to the “B” with it. Stock still has the recess for the bolt safety on the left side opposite the bolt handle. Redfield mount. No added tap holes. Early Leupold M7-3X scope in perfect condition (plain crosshairs). Still has the factory Lyman receiver sight base. Original Winchester Quick Detachable sling swivels.
