Description:
A vintage Case XX USA red bone 62131 no dot, 1966-1969. This one is in near mint condition. There are minor rub marks on blades and bolsters have some very fine scratches. I could find no cracks in the bone. The blades show no evidence of sharpening. Both blades walk and talk. I do not have any box for it. This is a fine example of a vintage CASE knife. Any collector would be proud to own this one.
According to the National Knife Collector's Association grading system.
Near Mint:There must be nothing wrong with a near mint knife. It should "walk and talk" and must have most of the original polish visible on the blades. Very light sharpening would be acceptable, but the blades must be full. It can have some light rust spots, but no deep rust pits. Some light carry scratches are permitted on the outside as well.
