Synopsis: Late Swiss 1924 Bern, 1906-24, Military Pistol, 29368, FB00800 Description: Some of the late 1924 Bern pistols either as assembled or reStandard configuration Bern 1working were figured with a 1929 sideplate including this example. The pistol is otherwise a standard 1924 Bern, .30 Luger, with 4.75” barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Blank chamber. Middle link with WAFFENFABRIK BERN. “P” release on trigger guard. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with the last few digits under the sideplate, trigger, barrel extension, and on all three components of the toggle, grip safety and both grips. Scattered Swiss crosses in usual locations. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, magazine release button, ejector and safety lever. Import markings as imaged. Correct magazine with tinned body and unmarked walnut plug. Condition: VG as arsenal reworked, attention having been directed to both the blued components and the strawed/fire blued small parts.
