Synopsis: Beautiful Swiss Luger, 1906/24, 1924, Bern Military Pistol, 17386, FB00801 Description: Standard configuration Bern 1906/24, .30 Luger, with 4.75” barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Blank chamber. Middle link with WAFFENFABRIK BERN. “P 48" on left side of barrel extention, reflecting deaccession in 1948. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with the last few digits under the sideplate, trigger, barrel extension, and on all three components of the toggle, grip safety and both grips. Scattered Swiss crosses in usual locations. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, magazine release button, ejector and safety lever. Import markings. Correct magazine with tinned body and unmarked walnut plug. Condition: Beautiful, bright rust blue, at least 98% arsenal blue, only minimal sharp edge wear as one might expect from a pistol that has not seen much service. Comparable condition front and backstraps. Polished rear toggle pin. Small parts with vivid straw colors. Excellent grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
