Synopsis: Mauser C96, Post War Mauser Banner Bolo, 655377, FB00827 Description: Very attractive C96, Post War Mauser Banner Bolo, all matching except for floorplate. Cal: 7.63mm. Standard configuration C96 Post War Mauser Banner Bolo with rust blue finish having 4” barrel, slip-in 50-1000 rear sight and two lug firing pin. Three line address on top of chamber. Crown/crown/U proofing on left chamber flat. Full serial number on left side of barrel extension. Left side of frame with narrow Mauser Banner. Usual two line address on right side of frame. Serrated walnut grips. Original lanyard ring. Disassembly shows a fully matched pistol except the floorplate that is number 5242. Condition: VG bright original rust blue with moderate wear in front of/along lower portion of magazine well, expected sharp edge wear, and the usual freckling and discolorations on front and backstrap, particularly where in contact with stock lug. Comparable condition grips, lightly revarnished over handling marks. Bright bore, lightly etched, easily discernable rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
