Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade pinned to a rise in the serrated barrel rib. The rear sight is a square-notch leaf click adjustable for windage and elevation, screwed to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a brand new Hogue Custom COCO BOLO valued at $300. The checkering is strong. The grips rate in Perfect Outstanding condition.

Overview: This like new S&W Model 625 is truly a rare, pride of ownership piece. These early production guns have been seen marked "Model of 1989", as this one.
It is chambered in .45 ACP featuring a round butt, double action, N target frame with 3 screws, 6 shot capacity, fluted cylinder, 3” full lug barrel, non-glare glass bedded matte finish, smooth combat trigger, adjustable rear sight. The first introduction of this model is Model 625-2, early variations can be marked “Model of 1988” or “Model of 1989”. This Model was discontinued in 1989. It uses a moon clip, or it can be fired without. You will not be disappointed.
ONE of the GREATEST features is this gun’s ability to share 45 ACP ammunition with semi-automatics chambered for the same cartridge, this is a great revolver to add to a collection which is already shooting this classic pistol caliber.
Overall Condition: Mechanics:
This handgun retains a true 99% of its stainless steel finish. The markings are clear. The cylinder lockup has no play on each of the six chambers. The action functions flawlessly with consistent sweet trigger pulls, and strong mechanics. The screwheads are sharp. The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In my opinion, this bore rates 10 out of 10.
Overall, this handgun rates in about Outstanding condition.
