Fascinating lockwork on this vintage Cape gun .. neither boxlock nor sidelock. The only thing that come close is a Lefever. Fully disassembled, cleaned and lubed, new firing pins, firing pin springs, and toplever spring installed. 25 1/2" barrels have surprisingly good bores, R .318 rifle, L .672/.632 full. Integral scope base takes modern rings incl. with Bushnell 4x scope. Beefy action has integral recoil lug, Greener bolt, front set trigger, double underbolt, disc-set strikers. Wood has a sliver repair to forend and splice repair to head. LOP 14 1/4" to original horn plate, drops 1 3/4 and 2 3/4", checkering nicely recut, prof repair to stock and forend. Weight 8lb w scope.
