"Ristigouche 1760 " by French bladesmith Thierry Le Sénécal Damascus feather blade , 4 mm thick and a mosaic Damascus bolsters. The spring and the plates are made of Z20c13 steel.The dimension of the open knife is 240 mm and 135 mm closed.The scales are made of yew wood, around 1000 years old, from the Écouves forest, topped with old-fashioned quilted rivets. Yew wood scales known in France as Bois D'If (1000 years old) unique "Palanquille" opening/closing system dating back to 18th century, France. There isn't a single US maker who makes this type of folder as it is uniquely a French creation. The maker does not makes sheath, but offer a double-sided velvet-lined protective pouch.
