Description:
Winchester Model 12. 20 gauge pump action shotgun. This Model 12 was painstakingly upgraded to a Pigeon grade retaining the plain barrel 28" modified game gun feel. The Pigeon was added to the extension; Pigeon grade wood was added and the carrier and bolt were engine turned (jeweled) as most original Pigeons were.
The forearm looks to be an original Pigeon. The very beautifully grained, straight grip butt stock appears newer but matches the forearm.
This is a good looking Model 12 that would be lots of fun to carry in the field. Made in 1953. The retains 98% condition since ugrading and restoration.
