Payment Types Accepted: AmEx, Discover, Master Card, Visa, Money Order, Certified Check, Personal Check (item held until check cleared) Description: The Colt Woodsman is a semi-automatic sporting pistol manufactured by the U.S. Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1915 to 1977. It was designed by John Moses Browning. The frame design changed over time in three distinct series: series one 1915–1947, series two 1947–1955, and series three 1955–1977.  The Colt Woodsman sprang from a design by John Moses Browning and was refined by gunsmiths and designers at Colt's before its introduction in 1915. Browning developed the Woodsman with a short slide, no grip safety and no hammer. These features were in place on his Model 1903 and 1911 designs, but a handgun intended for target use did not require them.  There are three series of the Colt Woodsman, and each series has three models: Target, Sport, and Match Target. The Sport Model featured a 4 1/2" barrel with a fixed serrated front sight with an adjustable rear sight. It was not until 1927 that the name "Woodsman" was used.  All items are also available for sale in our brick & mortar store and are subject to prior sale. Think long, think wrong. Payment On firearms, we typically only accept credit cards or money orders/cashier's checks. Sale prices reflect a 3.5% cash/money order discount. This discount is not valid for credit card purchases. Add 3.5% to the total cost for such purchases. Any purchases made in the state of Kentucky incur a 6% sales tax. We, in certain cases, at our discretion, may agree to allow an item to be put on layaway. Layaways must be agreed to prior to purchase. Our layaway policy is 1/2 of the final total as down payment with 60 days to pay the balance. Cancellation results in a 20% restocking fee based on the purchase price. Shipping We ship firearms via UPS and USPS. They must be sent to an FFL. We provide tracking numbers with all of our transactions. If paying by credit card, store policy is to ship to the billing address of the card. If paying by Money Order, we can ship to wherever it's legal. The exception is, obviously, serialized items. Legal Policy We can only ship items to areas in which they are legal. If you live in a more restrictive area, please check your local laws before or buying. We are, for the most part, willing to ship to the 50 states as long as it's legal. We may require proof of legality before proceeding with a transaction that is exempt from a normal law. Please only buy if you are legal to own this item. Serialized items must be transferred through an FFL. We do accept C&R's on any applicable items. You may have to pay your FFL a fee, which is not covered by this transaction. You are responsible to know and follow all laws (including shipping) in purchasing such items in your state.
