Description:
26 inch octagon replacement barrel chambered in 38-55 caliber with an excellent bore that is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Sights include a Marbles ivory beaded front and a sporting rear. Button magazine. Barrel retains about 90% blue and a few scattered freckles. Receiver shows about 70% finish with thinning at the carry point with light handling marks and a few scattered freckles. Traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting showing light wear and handling marks with the buttstock having splinters missing along the top edges by the upper tang. Equipped with a checkered steel shotgun butt. Crisp action. Manufactured in 1908.
