Colt – Original 1849 – Wells Fargo - 36 Cal - Stk# P-36-18
This, original, numbers matching, Colt 1851 36 cal manufactured in 1849 has a 3” octagon barrel mounted with a brass pin front sight along with a notch in the hammer for the rear sight. Stamped in the top flat of the barrel is; -ADDRESS COL COLT NEW-YORK CITY-. The bore and cylinder are in good condition with the exception of minor pitting throughout. The cylinder pin is loose and the cylinder stop and hand are not in time. The Walnut grips mounted to the frame by a steel trigger guard and back strap are in good to very good condition. This revolver is in fair condition. The length is 8”, the weight is 1.4lbs.
