The strength of its 3-rings-of-steel receiver paired with a hammer-forged barrel, combines to create the most popular bolt-action rifle in history. The simple design and out-of-box accuracy make this a first choice for affordable rifles. This rifle has a heavy McGowen barrel and a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12 x 44MM. The .17 Mach IV is a wildcat centerfire rifle cartridge based on the .221 Remington Fireball. It was introduced in 1962.
