Description:
An original Winchester Model 1886 Takedown rifle from 1907 in .33 Caliber. Rifle was originally a full magazine model but someone modified it and filled in the dovetail for the barrel band making it like a lightweight model. Has a matted barrel with a bore a bit dark but with strong lands. No original finish on the metal but no pits either - a great candidate for refinishing. Wood is pretty solid as shown in the photos. Sights are original and include a flat top sporting rear. Rifle is in perfect operating order.
