Description:
HS Precision Pro Series PHR 100 in .308 Win, excellent condition. This is a recently made rifle (Aug 2021) and features a threaded barrel for your suppressor covered by an invisible end cap.
Rifle is in extremely good condition and has been fired less than 80 times.
LOP is noteworthy at 14 3/8", barrel length is fluted and 24" long. The contour is regular.
The spec sheet shows the LOP at 13 1/2". I sent this rifle to HS and had the stock lengthened to 14 3/8"
The crown is for target shooting and recessed. The invisible thread protector is well, invisible.
Rifle weighs 8lbs 9 oz unscoped.
One familiar thing that is nice is the Winchester syle 3 position safety. It feels familiar to the shooter.
As you know, HS makes all components in house - stock, barrel, trigger, action, recoil pad.... They are fanatics on quality control, so you will get the accurate rifle you expect.
My results were equal to the test sheets using Barnes 165gr TSX factory loads - less than .75 MOA with factory ammo.
I bought this rifle to do some longer range shooting and to take to the SAAM school. It did not disappoint. I used a Swarovski Z5i 3.5-18x44 BT scope and it was excellent. The scope is available if you want it - $1450 with box. I am selling as I moved to a 6.5x284 Norma for some long range work. I like this rifle. I hate to sell it, but someone needs this bad boy to do some serious "reach out and touch someone" shooting.
