New items added daily! Description: This is an excellent example of a rare 7.5 inch Colt Single Action Army revolver from 1878. According to the included Colt factory letter, this gun was shipped to Schuyler, Hartley Graham (a private distributor) on May 25, 1878, along with 50 other guns. This one has a mixture of military and civilian features. Ours is military inspected "C" (sub inspector Casey), "P", and "J.T.C."(sub inspector John T Cleveland) on the barrel. "LD" on the frame with a "C" in the middle. We're told this means it is a condemned gun. It does not have a "US" property marking and does have a ".45 Cal" civilian marking on the left side of the trigger guard. All parts are numbered and matching. The overall condition of this one is excellent for its age. Most of the bluing remains, but the case-hardening on the frame is worn. Fitted with wood grips. Minty bore. Fully functional.
