NEAR NEW CONDITION MODEL 63 .22 AUTO RIFLE, #80XXX, MADE 1948. This early Post-War rifle appears to have seen no use. It retains about all the blue including on the checkered steel butt plate and forend cap. Wood is excellent, mechanically tight, bright bore, original sights. You'd have to examine this one very closely to fine a hint or edge wear or scratch to the wood finish on this 76 year old Winchester. Arguably the classiest .22 auto rifle ever made. This is what you'd see if you went to your local hardware store in 1948 and asked to see the Model 63 standing in the new gun rack!
