Description:
Factory second, Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather with a bead blast stainless steel finish. The barrel is a fluted 22" with a recessed crown and no provisions for iron sights. The left side of the barrel is marked "-WINCHESTER MODEL 70 30-06 SPRG ONLY- / -WINCHESTER IS A REGISTERED TRADEMARK OF OLIN CORPORATION-", the rear has an ovalled "WP" proof. The left of the receiver has "WINCHESTER" and has an ovalled "WP" proof. The right of the chamber ring is marked with the serial number "35GZP07444" and the bolt is marked "08232". The right side of the barrel is marked "-MODEL 70 EXTREME WEATHER SS- / -Imported by BACO Inc., Morgan Utah – Made in Portugal by Browning Viana". The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped to accept an optic mount. The safety is mounted on the rear of the bolt. Pulled to the rear, the safety is ON, locking both the bolt and the trigger. If pulled back half-way, it blocks only the trigger. The stock is one-piece textured Bell & Carlson composite stock with grey webbing, pistol grip, straight comb with a cheekpiece, sling studs front and rear, and a solid black rubber Decelerator buttpad.
