Anschutz Model 1522 chambered in 22 WMR (Winchester Magnum Rimfire). In excellent 95% original condition. Bluing is in excellent original condition. 23.5" barrel with factory flip-up rear sight and hooded front sight. Double Set Triggers. The stock is walnut and is in excellent original condition with a few very small handling marks. It has exceptional wood for an Anschutz and has a schnable forend. Redfield bases and 1" rings included. I lost track of the original magazine and replaced it with a factory Anschutz mag. The replacement mag has 22 WMR and 17 HMR on the floorplate cover. This rifle was produced in 1974 and I suspect it was purchased overseas through a military rod and gun club then shipped back to the US by a service member when he/she returned to the US. The reason I say this is because there are no importer markings and I think Savage Arms was importing Anschutz firearms in 1974 and marketing them as Savage - Anschutz products. I was in the US Army 1969 - 1979 and my last tour overseas, 1976 - 1979, was in West Germany. I bought several guns from the local Rod and Gun Club then shipped them back to the US in my household goods. Price is $2250 plus $75 shipping and insurance to your FFL. I am a private individual and if your FFL does not accept shipment from non-FFL individuals then add $25 for me to have my FFL ship it.
