Synopsis: Gorgeous Mauser P38 from WWII, byf 44, all original, phosphated and matching, with correct grips and magazine. Description: Standard configuration Mauser P38, 9mmP, with 5 inch barrel having drift adjustable front sight and U notched rear sight. Slide marked P.38 followed by “byf/44” and serial number. Usual safety markings. Right side of slide with inspection markings. All matching with full serial number on frame, slide, barrel and last 3 digits on locking block. Discrete import marking as imaged. Fitted with black phenolic grips and blued “P.38” surcharged magazine. Condition: EXC original finish with minimal sharp edge in usual places. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. It would be difficult to find a better, all original, full phosphate byf 44 P38 from late WWII. ~~Insured shipping fee of $65; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
