Description:
Civil War Model 1860 Cavalry Sword made by Henry Boker Solingen, Germany. 34.5" curved blade, ricasso is marked "Henry Boker/ Solingen", no US inspector marks. Blade is a dull mottled gray patina with light surface oxidation visible, some small nicks and a slight bend. Brass hand guard shows light nicks and dings along the edges. Leather and wire wrap are intact and in good overall condition with some wear, brass hilt has three branches, brass pommel cap and guard are unadorned with light verdigris, steel blade has flat back with narrow and wide fuller stopped at the ricasso. Will add to any Civil War collection.
