Description:
Special Order 1899 Savage Rifle in 303 Savage. 26" 1/2 octagon and 1/2 round barrel. Very nice bore that I will rate it a 7.5 on a scale from 1 to 10. Barrel retains 35 to 40% original blue. Receiver retains maybe 5% with the remainder a gray / brown patina. Forend and buttstock show use, buttstock shows an old repair on the left side wrist area. There are some tiny crack located near upper tang, and what looks like a nail right behind lower tang (please see pics). Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder. This firearm as with any other should be checked first by a gunsmith before any attempt is made to fire / operate it. Please feel free to ask questions.
