Description:
Serial #844845, 12 Gauge (2.75" chamber), 30 inch barrel choked full with an excellent bore. This is a Model 12 pump action shotgun manufactured by Winchester in 1939. The fully restored shotgun features a Simmons Gun Specialties Inc. vent rib and checkered English stock with a thick rubber Limbsaver recoil pad. In excellent condition the barrel and frame retain about 85-90% of a professional re-blue with loss along the operational parts of the action and slide with some marks around the take down margins. The replacement stock rates excellent with the original forearm solid showing some light handling marks. The action function very well with a smooth slide action. A great looking Model 12 that would be a pleasure to use in the hunting blind or trap range. FFL or C&R
