Here is an oldie but a goodie. The Savage 3B was known to be manufactured sometime before mid 1944, but records are not entirely clear. It is stamped \".22 short long or long rifle\". It is a a single shot, so a great first one for a little one just getting into the sport.
It has a 24\" barrel and an aftermarket dovetail front sight has replaced the factory original front bead. The length of pull measures 13-1/4\" giving it an overall length of 41-1/2\". It does have a lot of the bluing worn off down the barrel and some rust has set in. The bore still looks bright and it will be a great little shooter for a bit.
