It has a hooded blade fixed front sight, a Lyman aperture adjustable rear sight, a 20" round barrel, a side loading gate 5-round tubular magazine, a smooth curved trigger, a serrated hammer, and a flat steel butt plate. The bluing is generally in fair condition, showing significant thinning throughout, and with numerous light scratches on the receiver and elsewhere. The smooth round wood fore arm is in very good condition with some light handling marks. The smooth walnut butt stock shows light handling throughout, with some discoloration adjacent to the butt plate, but with no visible chips or cracks.
