Description:
This 1978 lever action rifle is a Winchester® Model 94 [with Case Color hardened receiver] chambered in .30-30 Winchester. It has a hooded blade fixed front sight, a buckhorn style butterfly V-notch adjustable rear sight, a 20" round barrel, a gold-plated side loading gate 5-round tubular magazine, a gold-plated saddle ring, a smooth curved trigger, a serrated hammer, and a flat hard plastic butt plate. This rifle has the somewhat unusual case color hardened receiver, the gold side loading gate, and the gold saddle stud and ring, as well as some basic scroll work on each side of the receiver. The bluing is in very good condition overall, with some loss in a couple of spots near the muzzle below the front sight. The wood fore arm and butt stock are in excellent condition, with no observable handling wear and with no chips or cracks visible.
